Elder Ling and Mission Hiccups

Mission History and News No 8

Elder Ling Diung Kwong

The historical Mission Head or Ah Tau in Hokkien was appointed and anointed by Lord Bo Tien. The appointment decreed by God and the lord saint is etched in history and cannot be rewritten by men.

What God and the lord saint decide, let no man put aside. It would take men with self-righteousness and finite regard for the lord saint to do so. Such self-righteousness is to be expected of men at times and the flower should not be blamed for insects coming to it.

This is expected too in a physical temple of Lord Bo Tien but will also happen in the true temple of the lord- the universal temple that is Bo Tien Temple, though in the true temple, they could not make any impact.

Who the lord chooses to be a leader is the prerogative of the lord. The lord could choose to train even the wayward if he so decides but in the case of elder Ling, he is not wayward but at worst an unpolished diamond, as described by the lord saint.

Blame not the lord saint for men with self-righteousness due to ignorance coming to him, for the lord saint is loving and divine and they too must be given many opportunities to be more good though due to their misconceived self-righteousness, they may have to learn in their own unique ways. They too are capable of doing better and have their places too under the sun. After all, they too are sons of God and the saints, albeit prodigal sons of sorts.

The lord saint Lord Bo Tien is like the great ocean and no amount of human transgressions and shortcomings will sully or affect him or the mission. Such human follies merely attest to the truth of the doctrine he teaches.

This fate that befalls a temple will not spare religions and sects as well. Men despite expressed respect for divinity will somehow out of zeal of sorts take over and modify the agenda and directions to fit their needs.

All are near and dear to the lord be they far or near to him. The far can be near and the near can be far. Ultimately all are concerns of God and saints regardless of transgressions and human preferences.

Cheers. All men are brothers after all. Everyone has his place in God's kingdom so long as he can cultivate and have the God in him and he in God.

Praise the lord. Praise too to all men including elder Ling and all those with misconceived self-righteousness for all want to do good in their own ways and never intended to rub others the abrasive way. They would never want to be like that if only they are better cultivated in the gospel of life and God.
